Our Game Levels

Our game levels

For over ten years, we have worked on developing our own system of playing levels for our recreational players - this is to make it easy to choose right when it comes to different activities in the club. We want you as a player to be able to develop at your own pace – and at the right level. Therefore, we have created a color system with five levels – Green, Yellow, Blue, Red, and Black – which makes it easier for you as a player to find the right training, get more even and enjoyable games, and a challenge at the right level.

Just like in golf, where you lower your handicap over time, in our club you can "climb the colors". Most people start with us as beginners at the green level – but through training, matches, and hard work, step by step you get better, and eventually move on to the next color. The color system is part of how we create motivation, structure, and development.

If you are unsure, contact our coaches or book a tennis session at the green or yellow level. Our coaches will help you find the right fit after one or two sessions – so that your tennis becomes both fun and developing.

Green (Level 1/5)

Perfect for beginners or those with a little experience. We focus on grip, swings, footwork, and ball control, so you can play independently. Free racket loans during the first sessions.

Yellow (Level 2/5)

For those of you who know the basics of forehand, backhand, and volley. Here you develop your confidence, play simpler matches with/without serve, and learn fundamental tactics.

Blue (Level 3/5)

For you who master the entire game and move across the whole court. You control the pace/safety, place the ball, follow various goals the coach sets during the game, and start using spin in your shots.

Red (Level 4/5)

For experienced players with a high tempo, few mistakes, and good match experience. You adjust the tempo, spin, and placement, handle difficult drills, and have good fitness so that you cover the entire court. Players at this level have often played tennis as children or started playing later but have been very active. A coach's recommendation is required.

Black (Level 5/5)

The highest level for previous competition players or equivalent playing level who can complete the game. The training focuses on details rather than basics and resembles the setup for the club's competitive juniors. A high physical level is required. A recommendation from a coach is needed.
